Prime Video’s Blockbuster Reveal: Varun Dhawan-Samantha Prabhu’s ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny,’ Anil Kapoor’s ‘Subedaar,’ and Ananya Panday’s ‘Call Me Bae’ Lead the Charge in 69-Title Lineup

At the forefront of this extravaganza was ‘Fallout,’ a series shrouded in mystery and intrigue, brought to life by the visionary duo of Jonathan Nolan and Ella Purnell. As glimpses of the iconic video game series came to life on screen, anticipation reached a crescendo, hinting at an immersive experience like never before.
But the spotlight didn’t falter, shifting seamlessly to the Indian contingent, where homegrown talent illuminated the stage with their brilliance.
This exciting announcement had 27 original Indian series including the much anticipated Indian edition ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny’ starring Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu. A spy action-thriller set in the 90’s. ‘Gulkand Tales’ ‘A unique and visually delightful satire set in the fictional land of Gulkanda,’ starring Pankaj Tripathi, Kunal Kemmu, and Patralekhaa. ‘Matka King’ is set in the 60s about a new gambling game, starring Vijay Varma and produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur and Nagaraj Manjule.
Rana Daggubati turns talk show host where he will be featuring contemporaries and friends. We’re quite excited for this.
Bhumi Pednekar’s ‘Daldal’ where Rita Ferreira, Mumbai’s new DCP investigates a serial killer on the loose, directed by Amrit Raj Gupta.
Another interesting upcoming documentary show is ‘In Transit’ exploring ‘the lives of trans and non-binary individuals navigating love, identity, and the boundaries of gender in a uniquely Indian way,’ produced by Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti, and Directed by Ayesha Sood.

Another hotly anticipated show is ‘Call Me Bae’ starring the effervescent Ananya Panday in the lead who plays a downsized heiress called ‘Bae’ who hustles her way across the newsrooms of Mumbai ‘finding beaus, behens, and her better self.’ The show also stars comedian Vir Das, Gurfateh Pirzada, Mini Mathur and more.
A show on Indian influencers in Los Angeles chasing fame starring Alanna Panday, Alaviaa Jaaferi, Alfia Jafry and more called ‘The Tribe’. Produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Aneesha Baig.
Another show on India’s viral influencer Uorfi Javed called ‘Follow Karlo Yaar’.

Cheekati Lo (Telugu) film produced by Suresh Babu, Uppu Kappu Rambu (Telugu) which is a satirical comedy starring Suhas Pagolu and Keerthy Suresh.
Abhishek Bachchan and Nora Fatehi starring in ‘Be Happy’ follow the journey of a single father and his daughter as they aspire to perform in the country’s biggest reality dance show.
Boman Irani’s directorial debut is called ‘The Mehta Boys’ starring himself, Avinash Tiwary, and Shreya Chaudhary.
