As anticipation mounts for Netflix India’s highly awaited series, Heeramandi – The Diamond Bazaar, helmed by the esteemed director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, fans eagerly await its release.
The glitz and glamour of Tinsel Town were on full display as industry elites gathered in solidarity to witness the premiere of the first two episodes of Heeramandi – The Diamond Bazaar.
Alia Bhatt, known for her previous collaboration with Bhansali in Gangubai Kathiawadi, exuded elegance in a nude pink sharara designed by Seema Gujral. Adorned with intricate embroidery and pearl detailing, her ensemble was complemented by soft waves and subtle makeup, radiating sheer sophistication.
Accompanied by her fiancé Siddharth, Aditi Rao Hydari graced the red carpet in a floral Anarkali by Torani.

The outfit was accentuated by a V-neck long flowing kurta, velvet pants, and a plain dupatta. Her classic look was completed with a low bun adorned with a gajra, jadau earrings by Falguni Mehta, and Fizzy Goblet footwear.
Sonakshi Sinha, who stars in the show as Fareedan, looked ethereal in a black saree with gold polka dots by Raw Mango. She elegantly accessorised with statement jewellery, a gajra-adorned bun, bold winged liner, and a black bindi.
Ali Fazal came to support his wife Richa Chadha and raised the style quotient in a black and white ensemble. The outfit features a long open coat over a white formal shirt and trousers, paired with black Mary Jane shoes and white socks, exuding effortless coolness.

Heeramandi – The Diamond Bazaar marks Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s debut venture into creating a full-fledged series for a streaming platform. Expectations are sky-high with reports indicating a budget of approximately ₹200 crore, including Bhansali’s directorial fee, actors’ fees, and production costs.
Featuring an ensemble cast including Manisha Koirala, Richa Chadha, Shekhar Suman, Fardeen Khan, Adhyayan Suman, and more, the series delves into the lives of courtesans in the pre-independence era.
The captivating trailer showcases grandiose sets, opulent costumes, original music and immersive storytelling, promising audiences an unforgettable cinematic experience.
